Southwest
Florida Paralegal Association, Inc. ("SWFPA”) held its Annual Meeting on
December 6, 2017. Members approved the following
executive officers for 2018:

At
the Annual Meeting, the Scholarship Committee presented SWFPA member Tamara
Skonie, CP, FRP, with a $250 scholarship to pursue the Advanced Certified
Paralegal credential with the National Association of Legal Assistants
(NALA).
SWFPA’s
meetings occur at The Varsity Club at University Park Country Club, located at
7671 The Park Blvd. in Sarasota. The
meeting dates scheduled for 2018 are: February 21, April 18, June 20, October
17, and December 5. Meetings typically
offer 1.5 credits of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) for professional
development. Attendance includes dinner
and is offered at a rate of $30 for guests and $25 for members. RSVPs are required in advance. Visit us
